• Impact of Telecommunication Engineering on Telecom Field Engineers

    The Telecom Field Engineer is an individual who applies knowledge of the basic sciences - Physics and Mathematics -, as well as those corresponding to signals, systems, electronics and computing to analyze, design, plan, organize, produce, install, develop, and maintain in operation and manage networks and telecommunications systems, thus contributing to meet the needs of the country and promote development in this area, considering the importance for present and the future.

    The application for the admission to make a career in Telecommunications Engineering must be made from the second and up to the third semester, counted from your entry into the career origin. Students will be selected by the admission committee to the race at the end of the semester in which they made the request based on the selection agenda.

    The Telecom Field Engineer makes use of his knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences, and engineering techniques to develop his professional activity in various areas, such as optical, satellite, microwave, wired and wireless communication networks, broadcasting systems, systems of radio navigation, as well as the administration, design, construction, operation and maintenance of products and equipment in telecommunications engineering.
